Led by Hallam Tucker and Henry Battey, Studio Hatcham work on a wide range of projects in London and Totnes, Devon, as well as further afield, including the extension and reconfiguration of domestic buildings, mixed use developments, public and community schemes, and artist studios.

Project involvement is across all RIBA Work Stages; often from inception through to completion. This allows for the studio’s careful and considered designs to be delivered on site, resulting in a resolved and deliberate outcome.

Henry Battey BA (Hons) MArch Dip.Arch ARB RIBA

Henry studied at Oxford Brookes University and the University of Westminster. His prior experience includes working at Flower Michelin Architects, where amongst other projects he was architect for Sandylands; a large house on the west coast of Scotland. The project was shortlisted for the Architects’ Journal Manser Medal: House of the Year and Refurbishment of the Year awards.

Hallam Tucker BA (Hons) Dip.Arch ARB

Hallam graduated from Oxford Brookes University, The Sir John Cass School of Art and later completed his professional qualification at Westminster University. He joined naganJohnson Architects in 2013 and worked on various projects including the mixed use development of Pontypool Place. His prior experience also includes working at Maich Swift Architects gaining experience working as a project architect on listed buildings, temporary installations, retail and new build projects.
